Who Wore What at the IIFA Green Carpet?

Bollywood’s leading ladies took to the “Green Carpet” during The IIFA Awards in Madrid, Spain.  Here is a glimpse of what they were wearing.

For the big Awards night, it was an outfit inspired by the Spanish bullfighters for Deepika Padukone. The actor paired her ivory Sabyasachi with stunning emeralds from Tanishq and rings from Anmol. A teased ponytail and dramatic smokey eyes helped finish out the look.

Aditi Rao Hydari picked a full-skirted Shantanu and Nikhil gown. Taking a cue from Dolce and Gabbana runway, Aditi finished out her look with a jeweled headband and boho earrings. She looked stunning.

Athiya Shetty, the young fashionista, wore a gown by Rami Kadi Maison de Couture. She kept the rest of the look minimal while Nargis Fakhri was drop-dead gorgeous walking in a floor-length shimmery evening gown by designer Namrata Joshipura. We absolutely love her how fierce she looks.

Going the high-street, Neha Dhupia picked an H&M shirt and John Paul Ataker skirt for the big event. Serious cuff in place, a box clutch, an updo, cat-eye and near nude pink lip color made for the finishing touches.

Bipasha Basu picked a Abu Jani- Sandeep Khosla gown at the IIFA Awards on Saturday evening, wearing it with an updo. The ruffle gown may be a bit too overwhelming, but Bipasha carried it off like a diva. Karan Singh Grover too looks dashing in black.

Ameesha Patel wore a strapless Alexander McQueen gown with a gold Chanel box clutch. Judging from her last not-so-great appearances, we think she did a great job here. Only wish the makeup was toned down a bit.  Bhumi Pedhnekar was seen in a strapless Shantanu and Nikhil gown, with dramatic lip color and a choker. Wish she had tied her hair though.

Wearing a sparkly mint colored Nakul Sen gown, Dia Mirza got bling back at the main event. An updo in place, the actor finished out her look with a sparkly nude clutch. Singer Kanika Kapoor picked a sparkly Versace for the main event. Wearing her hair to the side, she finished out the look with multiple bangles/bracelets on one hand.

Lara Dutta walked the IIFA green carpet in a simple yet chic hot pink gown. She accessorized it with dangly earrings. It was a Dolly J dress for actor Richa Chaddha. With her hair pulled back in a ponytail, she finished out the look with jewelry and a pair of sparkly Christian Louboutin pumps.  For the main event, Sonakshi Sinha picked a Jani Khosla dress. Hair in a slick knot, she finished out the look with a bold lip, understated jewelry and pair of pumps.

Wearing a slinky white cut out gown by Shantanu and Nikhil, Shilpa Shetty walked the IIFA green carpet. And, a pair of gold ear cuffs rounded out her look. Shriya Saran picked a wine-hued Falguni and Shane Peacock gown. Hair in a ponytail, she finished out her look with a simple ponytail, diamond studs and glittery clutch. Huma Qureshi looked hot as hell in a black gown and sleek hair. Wish she would have given those earrings a miss.
