Happy Ganesh Chaturthi

The most awaited Ganesh festival, Ganesh Chaturthi is observed today.  Most of the Hindus celebrate ten-day Ganapati puja with devotion and faith as they honor the elephant headed God (Son of Lord Shiva and goddess Parvari) Ganesh’s Birthday.

Colorful Ganesh idols and beautiful sounds of Ganesh shlokas and songs are sung around the world.  Ganesh is known by hundred and eight different names and is the lord of wisdom and intellect.  He’s always found first in the entrance of every temple in the world as he’s considered to be the beginning reason to any and all activities or events.
