With its cast, story and performances, Beyhadh, a new show on Sony Entertainment Television, has received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.

Beyhadh is a Romantic thriller showcasing two different shades of love – one driven by obsession & the other by selflessness and purity. The show’s premiere examined the lives of Maya, Arjun and Saajh, and highlighted their characters. Jennifer Winget’s intensity, Kushal Tandon’s flamboyance and Aneri Vajani’s cheerfulness was an instant hit with the viewers.

Here’s what top television celebrities had to say about the show:

Kapil Sharma: Sony TV is doing something that is completely different, and I am sure it will be appreciated by the audience. Kushal’s character is named Arjun Sharma and I am a Sharma as well. Two Sharmas together are already rocking the channel.

Gauahar Khan: Beyhadh is fresh, well shot, and has a new approach. I wish the team luck. I hope they continue to create a good show. Kushal is doing complete justice to Arjun’s character.

Nikitin Dheer: Beyhadh’s concept is great and fresh. The premise of the show is a good deviance from what we are currently seeing on Indian television.

Jay Bhanushali: I loved the concept of Beyhadh. It’s very different from regular shows on television. Kushal essays his character very well. Jennifer and Kushal look great together. Aneri too plays her part well. The casting is apt.

The show will see an interesting turn this week, amidst the continuous banter between Arjun and Maya. Maya, who has never received a man’s love, including her father’s, will experience an intense exchange with Arjun for the first time. Will she continue to suppress this unknown feeling or will this be a fresh beginning in her life?
